AgFuse’s New Features, Including a Free Publishing System and Commodities Section, Further Enables Ag Professionals to Share and Access Valuable Information
The social networking platform AgFuse, built exclusively for farmers and other ag professionals to connect, now features a free article publishing system and other tools including a commodities section, which offers detailed quotes, interactive charts and market news.
AgFuse Publishing, a feature that gives members the opportunity to produce long-form articles that can be shared across the Internet, was implemented late last year on the company’s website. Already, the tool has been used by a variety of professionals including farmers, agronomists, agribusiness representatives and independent journalists.

After using the new feature, independent agronomist and AgFuse member Monica Pape commented, “AgFuse’s publishing platform has become an invaluable tool for me as an ag professional since I can use the platform to connect with others in the industry and we can supply information that all types of farmers across the country can share and learn from. The platform provides a way for the farmer and ag professional to build meaningful connections beyond the articles themselves.”

The new commodities section features three subsections: markets, news and weather. The markets subsection shows futures quotes and charts including current figures and historical highs and lows. The news subsection provides relevant market updates and commentary. The weather subsection details local weather information including current conditions and a three-day forecast. All three subsections are accessible on the AgFuse website and apps.
Other recent platform improvements include a behind-the-scenes makeover to optimize loading speeds and to enhance search capabilities, allowing members to narrow search results by members, groups, articles or posts.
