PathFactory Welcomes SaaS Leader Dev Ganesan As New CEO

Fast-Growing Marketing Technology Company Adds Experienced Leadership to Build on Momentum and Capitalize on Growth Potential

Marketing technology company PathFactory announced that it has named Dev Ganesan as CEO. Ganesan brings a proven track record of scaling SaaS-based companies that will further drive PathFactory’s rapid growth and product innovation.

PathFactory’s Content Insight and Activation Platform helps B2B marketers deliver a truly seamless customer experience by enabling buyers with the right content at every stage of the buying journey. Powered by a unique, best-in-class, first-party data set, its real-time content recommendations remove friction for B2B buyers and dramatically expedite the buying process. Leading enterprise and commercial brands like Cisco, Rockwell Automation, TIBCO, and National Instruments rely on PathFactory’s buyer enablement capabilities to help their buyers buy.

“I am excited to welcome Dev to the PathFactory team and look forward to working together as we continue to innovate on how to remove friction from B2B buying,” said Mark Opauszky, PathFactory’s Founder. “Dev brings a wealth of relevant experience that makes him the best possible choice to lead the company through this next stage of growth.”

Ganesan is the former CEO of ItemMaster, a product content management company and PathFactory customer that was acquired by Gladson (now Syndigo) in January 2019. Prior to ItemMaster, he led Fishbowl, Inc., a leading restaurant marketing and analytics company, and Aptara, a digital content and publishing leader. Ganesan has in-depth experience in building and scaling companies in the digital, mobile, content, and data analytics industries. He is the recipient of the Ernst & Young 2017 Entrepreneur-of-the-Year award, Future 50 award in 2014 and 2013, and was recognized as a Washington Tech Titan in 2013.

“After getting to know the founders of PathFactory over the past few years and becoming a customer during my time at ItemMaster, I’ve seen the transformative power of enabling B2B buyers by removing friction from how they find and consume content,” said Ganesan. “PathFactory is uniquely positioned to change the way B2B companies deliver content to their buyers across every channel, and use its new class of first-party data to make decisions about where to invest and how to optimize marketing.”

“With the addition of Dev to PathFactory’s leadership team, the company is well-positioned to capitalize on the strong foundation laid by its founders and continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in B2B marketing,” said Jamie Egasti, Chairman of the PathFactory board of directors. “Dev has an excellent track record of helping companies scale and grow.”
