I’ve always wanted to be a storyteller. It's only natural that I was drawn to write for a living. Writing does more than just tell; it teaches. There is nothing more satisfying than learning enough about a topic to be able to explain it to someone else. That is what makes writing my passion. When you read my work, you’re getting more than just parroted-back text. You’re receiving my complete immersion in the topic. I’ll spend as much time as needed on a topic to write about it well. This dedication shows in the sheer variety of topics I have written about. To name a few, I’ve written on travel, content marketing, breaking news, international news, and climate change. I see every area I haven’t written in before as a challenge. I love to learn and will tackle any endeavor, just for the sheer pleasure of learning. To top it off, I know how to meet a deadline. I’ve been working as a freelancer since my freshman year of college, hitting deadlines for not only my schoolwork and the school newspaper, but also various side projects as well. And I know that the little stuff matters. I have cultivated my attention to detail through years of writing and editing. I am passionate and driven in all I do, something that comes through in my work.
