PossibleNOW Cited as One of 12 Providers That Matter Most in New Independent Report for GDPR & Privacy Management Software

PossibleNOW Views the Growing Privacy Landscape as an Opportunity to Focus on Consent, Preference, and Data Subject Rights Management for Enterprise Companies in Need of a More Sophisticated Solution

Leading analyst research firm, Forrester Research, unveiled this week its research report: The Forrester New Wave: GDPR And Privacy Management Software, Q4 2018. The report lists PossibleNOW as one of the “12 providers that matter most” in its evaluation of the emerging market for EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and privacy management software solutions.

GDPR is top-of-mind for many companies today due to the substantial penalties associated with noncompliance.  Additionally, industry experts believe that the new regulation will offer a significant opportunity for organizations to create business value by increasing trust with the customers they serve.

While there are many requirements within GDPR and other privacy regulations globally, consent and Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) represent the intersection between a company and their customers, and the most visible opportunity to succeed or fail in the eyes of the marketplace.  Getting it right requires companies to consider their customer journey along with the data and applications that support it. Additionally, they must integrate privacy processes in a way that are seamless and create a mutual value exchange.

In the report, Forrester states that PossibleNOW “Stands out for vision and easy customization options. Thanks to custom properties and extendable configuration data models, customers can be very granular in the way they build the consent experience and manage underlying data.”  The report further describes how PossibleNOW “Suits firms that have a focus on customer consent. The platform is a good fit for firms that want to focus on consent and data subject rights.”

“We are very pleased with our placement in Forrester’s recent report,” said Scott Frey, CEO.  “While other providers offer a broad set of capabilities, as a company we have chosen to go deep on consent and data subject rights management.  Our customers have validated this approach citing our flexibility and connectivity.  We are committed to building on this success, which dates back to 2000, and look forward to helping customers integrate and optimize these privacy requirements across their customer journeys.”
