Zappi, the ad and innovation testing platform built by brands for brands, today announced that Melanie LoBue has joined the company as executive vice president of marketing. LoBue has led marketing teams at multiple B2B tech organizations, most recently at RepTrak where she transitioned the company from a consultative services to subscription-based SaaS business, taking it through its first rebrand and name change in 20 years. With a focus on delivering predictable pipeline revenue, LoBue evolved the company’s messaging, market position, and purpose, while managing digital content, lead generation, event planning, executive communications, social media and public relations.

Prior to joining Zappi, LoBue embarked on her own consulting business primarily partnering with Square 2 Marketing, HubSpot’s first Diamond Agency Partner, where she led teams to drive growth marketing strategy for a variety of B2B and B2C businesses.

Named Marketing Research Supplier of the Year by Quirk’s Media last year, Zappi builds insights solutions in partnership with brands like PepsiCo, McDonald’s, Mars and Verizon to help companies answer their most pressing business questions, learn more about their consumers and launch better ads and innovation.

“Zappi is an organization that delivers on its promise of creative disruption, inclusive engagement, and people-first culture,” LoBue said of joining Zappi. “I am delighted to join at this critical moment of rapid expansion, to share my deep knowledge of data-driven capabilities and brand building, and to work with my new colleagues to drive significant growth.”

Ryan Barry, Zappi’s president, added, “Melanie brings a data-driven and customer-centric view of marketing and growth to Zappi. She has a proven track record of taking marketing organizations to the next level. We are very pleased she decided to join us and look forward to integrating Melanie into our marketing, go-to-market and executive leadership teams.”
