Multicloud Networking Provider Pureport announced major feature enhancements to its Multicloud Fabric platform which enables seamless orchestration of private connectivity to the major cloud providers. Pureport’s Multicloud Fabric empowers businesses of all sizes to securely interconnect clouds, sites, and on-premises facilities in minutes, without the need for additional physical infrastructure.
Multicloud, hybrid cloud, and multi-site networks are often configured with overlapping IP address ranges. To solve this common obstacle, Pureport’s new product enhancements include Cloud Grade NAT functionality, a feature that intelligently detects and resolves overlapping IP address conflicts. By mitigating these conflicts, organizations can avoid significant expense, and immediately proceed with network interconnection.

In this latest release, Pureport’s Console has been enhanced to make it even easier to build and deploy multicloud, hybrid cloud, and multi-site networks within minutes. Layer 3 Networking – All Pureport gateways now support BGP Peering to allow for dynamic exchange of routes with edge routers, as well as between other gateways across an organization’s private network. Cloud connections support automatic failover between redundant gateways and allow all edge routers to dynamically learn the routes to all interconnected subnets.
Automated BGP Configuration – Pureport’s Distributed Multicloud Router simplifies network configuration and deployment by assigning network subnets, discovering autonomous system numbers, and automatically configuring BGP sessions on the administrator’s behalf.
High Availability – Every connection within a Pureport network is highly available by default, where each connection has two gateway containers across separate availability zones. Traffic will continue to flow, even if a failure—such as a power outage, provider circuit loss, switch failure, engine failure, etc.—occurs in one of the two zones.
Power Seamless Integrations with Existing Orchestration and Automation Systems –
Pureport now exposes a simple REST API, allowing for DevOps automation of multicloud and hybrid cloud networks using existing orchestration and automation tools.
