Neustar’s Michael Kaczmarek Named a Ponemon Fellow

Neustar Inc., a global information services and technology company and leader in identity resolution, announced that Michael Kaczmarek, vice president of product management for Neustar’s Security Solutions business, has been named a Fellow by the Ponemon Institute.

Ponemon Fellows are nominated and selected by their peers across the industry and represent some of the top privacy and security strategists in the world. Membership is given to individuals with distinguished credentials in cybersecurity, data protection, privacy and other related areas.

In his role with Neustar, Michael Kaczmarek is responsible for formulating the vision, defining the strategy and executing the tactics needed for the successful launch and expansion of products into new and existing markets. He also directs Neustar’s research efforts around DDoS attacks and DNS trends, working closely with the cross-functional team to publish regular reports detailing changes in the cybersecurity landscape.

Prior to joining Neustar, Kaczmarek spent nearly two decades with Verisign, serving in various capacities including vice president of product management and marketing for Verisign Security Services. Before that, he was a systems engineering manager for Lockheed Martin in charge of their Solid Rocket Motor Disposition in Russia Program. A Professional Engineer (Inactive) and Certified Project Management Professional, Kaczmarek holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
